Spring of 2021, Odyssey subcontracted to Woodburn Construction of Oregon to perform all the site preparation, parking lot preparation, building footing and pad preparation, sanitary sewer line installation, domestic waterline installation, fire suppression system supply line installation, stormwater piping, catch basins, manholes and stormwater pond installation in order for Woodburn and its other associated subcontractors to install a new mortuary building to replace the old, run down and outdated mortuary for the Cowlitz County Coroner’s Office in Longview, WA. This project went incredibly smooth and Odyssey stuck with Woodburn’s construction schedule to help them achieve an excellent product that they were able to turn over to the owner ahead of schedule and within their budget. Odyssey also completed the demolition of the old morgue building upon completion and occupancy of the new morgue building.
